Since 2019, Appelhans Designs has worked with nearly 100 businesses throughout the Denver Metro Area and Colorado Front Range, helping small and medium-sized companies strengthen how they look, communicate, and get found online. About Nathan Appelhans
My name is Nathan Appelhans, owner of Appelhans Designs, and my path into web design started long before I ever planned on turning it into a business. I spent about 10 years working on my family's band website, and after taking on several client projects, I realized how much I enjoyed using design and marketing to help other businesses tell their stories. That experience expanded in 2017 when my dad began running a MATCO Tool Truck and I took responsibility for its marketing, including flyers, product spotlights, social media content, commercials, and promotional videos. In February 2019, I left my corporate job to pursue Appelhans Designs full time and use my God-given creative talents to help small businesses build a stronger presence. Although I have since retired from performing music, I still enjoy being involved in the short-track racing community. My family and I also own a company that sells pit lighting systems, giving us opportunities to support racers and travel to races throughout the year, and I remain involved with Colorado National Speedway as its webmaster. My family continues to be an important part of Appelhans Designs, supporting the business, sharing their perspective, and helping me make decisions as the company continues to grow.
